Actually, we will use the same power distribution in both the Pete’s Arcade and the Cowboy Arcade. We need 120VAC coming into the cab to be switched and fused and then available in 4 three-prong grounded plugs in the floor of the cab.

We start with a IEC C14 Flanged Panel-mount Jack that will handle 10A at 250VAC (meaning it will handle 10A at 120VAC too.) The hot wire will go to a Panel Mount AGC Fuse holder with a 10A fast acting fuse (110%: 4 Hours Min., 135%: 1 Hour Max., 200%: 120 Seconds Max.) After the fuse, the hot wire will go to a SPST Illuminated Rocker Switch, which will also have a neutral conductor to facilitate the light in the switch. Then the switched hot wire will go to the outlets which will also be wired to neutral and ground.
The connections at the Jack, Fuse, and Switch will be 0.187″ Quick Connect Terminals soldered to the wire and protected by shrink tubing to facilitate assembly and replacement.
We also need 12VDC power for several things in the cab as well as audio, low power signals, USB, and HDMI connections.

We start with a Suzo Happ 12VDC Power Supply (plugged into the AC wired above). This provides power to a Kemo Electronic 40W Audio Power Amplifier Module to drive the 5″ speaker for sound, a pair of 20″ White LED strips for the Marquee, and the lights for the coin returns in the coin door. All 12VDC power connections are by barrel connectors ensuring that positive and negative are always correct and allowing for easy removal and replacement of items.
The coin door will have a 6 Pin Molex connector to carry the signals from the coin mechanisms and the reject buttons which will be wired to switches to act as coin adds.
The signals from the coin door and the signal wires from all game controls on the control panel will go into an IPAC controller to produce a USB signal for the computer. A powered USB hub will collect the USB signals from the control panel and external USB connectors for additional game controls and route to the Raspberry Pi computer. Finally, the computer will provide an HDMI output for the LG 24MK600 24” Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Display and audio out which will go into a SPRODIO Single Stereo to Dual Mono Audio Converter before connecting to the audio power amp.
We will do everything we can to manage the wiring and keep everything neat and tidy.
